According to reports from Houston Airports, Hurricane Ike caused $23 million worth of damage. It will take anywhere from 6 to 8 months to repair all damages.
Bush Intercontinental is looking at $4.8 million due to roof and water damage at the customs inspections area, Terminal C, and a people mover in Terminal B.
Hobby Airport is facing $9.5 million in damages, also because of water damage. The central concourse was damaged, along with the hangars and the upper U-ramp.
And Ellington Field has the smallest price tag at $4 million. Ellington had roof and water damage as well, to numerous buildings.
